Stability Test (Shelf Life)
There should be no change in the physical state of the finished product, such as merging of emulsions, phase separation, crystallization or precipitation of substances, color changes. Exposure of cosmetic products to changing temperatures, humidity, UV light, mechanical stress can reduce the intended quality of the product and consumer safety.
Relevant stability tests, adapted to the type and intended use of the cosmetic product, should be carried out.
