Dermatological Testing
The phrase “Dermotologically Tested” on the cosmetic products means that the product has been tested on volunteers and the test has been approved by an expert dermatologist and an independent and accredited laboratory. Dermatology studies are carried out to evaluate, develop and market the safety and efficacy of cosmetics and skin care products.
The most important dermatological test is the Patch test. Evaluation of the irritation potential of cosmetics and personal care products performed on volunteers is the Patch Test.
The claim of “Dermotologically Tested” should be based on precise analysis and testing. Allergic conditions can be prevented with in vivo patch testing. Cosmetic products can be proven to be safe for consumers.

A small amount of sample will be placed on the volunteers' skin and each sample will be covered with a patch. Depending on the cosmetic product to be tested and skin type, evaluation can be made after 48-72 hours.
