EN 13727+A2
The EN 13727+A2 standard covers testing procedures for “homogeneous or ready-to-use products, physically stable chemical disinfectants and antiseptic products when diluted with hard water. It is the standard used for the necessary test work for the Evaluation of Bacteria Killing Efficiency in chemical disinfectants and antiseptic products.As part of the Evaluation of Bactericidal Efficacy in the Medical Field, chemical disinfectant and antiseptic products can only be tested at a concentration of 80% or less, or with a modified method for special cases, with 97%.
It can be used in chemical disinfectant and antiseptic products in hospitals, community medical facilities and dental institutions, school clinics, kindergartens and nursing homes, workplaces and homes, areas such as laundries and kitchens that provide products directly to patients.
