What is a Biocidal Product?
Biocidal products are products containing active substances that help to destroy and neutralize harmful and unwanted organisms in an environment or on a surface. Active substances in biocidal products can be chemical or natural oils, extracts, or a microorganism such as virus, bacteria, fungus.If the effect of a product is purely physical, it is not considered a biocidal. Biocidal products consist of 22 product types. Generally; includes products such as disinfectants, preservatives, wood preservatives, insecticides and repellents.
